THE SPACE:
This 1BHK residence is designed as a compact yet refined urban home where the living and bedroom areas are organized to maximize openness and functionality. The interiors are defined by clean architectural surfaces, marble-finish flooring, and a calm neutral palette that enhances brightness and spatial clarity.
The living area is anchored by a minimal TV wall featuring layered paneling and an illuminated vertical niche that acts as the primary focal point. Arched openings and rounded edges help create smooth transitions between spaces, giving the interior a fluid and welcoming character. The bedroom continues the same visual language with subtle wall paneling, integrated bedside niches, and large windows that allow natural light to enhance the serene atmosphere.
THE CONCEPT:
The design concept is based on Soft Minimal Living, where minimalism is softened through warm materials, gentle curves, and carefully integrated lighting. The aim was to create a home that feels calm, comfortable, and visually balanced while maintaining a contemporary aesthetic.
A neutral palette of whites and warm beige tones forms the foundation of the design, complemented by light wood finishes and muted green accents that introduce a subtle connection to nature. Sculptural elements such as arches and rounded forms soften the interior geometry, while feature walls and layered paneling add depth without introducing visual clutter.
Lighting is thoughtfully integrated through indirect LED strips, recessed fixtures, and illuminated niches, highlighting architectural details and creating a warm ambient glow throughout the space.
